Disney Femicesses

Growing up in Orange County and Orlando, Disney was an integral part of my childhood. Media outlets would make the argument that Disney princesses are bad role models or "un-feminist" for young girls because they’re damsels in distress and get rescued by a man. I wanted to create a website arguing why each Disney Princess is inherently a feminist.

The Walt Disney Company has been telling historical stories for decades, and as time and values have changed, Disney theme parks , and the Company as a whole have adapted in response - specifically the with the Disney Princess Formula.
