





While my BLM artwork was about the awareness of Injustice in the black community, I focused my social media campaign on shedding light on the beauty industry's racial disparities and promoting representation. I dedicated myself to highlighting black-owned beauty brands. By leveraging my platform, I aimed to counteract the underrepresentation of black beauty brands in mainstream media and encourage others to diversify their purchasing habits. The impact of my BLM posts resonated deeply with both individuals and brands alike. The brands' acknowledgment was truly unexpected, especially considering the size of my platform. Numerous black beauty brands expressed their heartfelt gratitude for my efforts in championing their businesses and promoting their products to a wider audience. These brands recognized the importance of visibility and the positive impact it has on driving economic opportunities for the black community.
